The story of a woman suspected of murdering her husband and their semi blind son, who, as the only witness to the event, finds himself in the middle of a moral dilemma.

Samuel is found dead in the snow outside the isolated cabin where he lived with his wife Sandra, a German writer, and their partially blind 11-year-old son Daniel. The police investigation soon points to a suspicious death: it is impossible to state with certainty whether Samuel committed suicide or was murdered. Sandra is a suspect. even the accused, and her trial follows, during which all the secrets from their marriage slowly begin to come to the surface. During the trial, Daniel finds himself in the center of attention: between the trial and their life at home, suspicions begin to arise that threaten to destroy the relationship between mother and son.
