On July 5, 1984, Diego Maradona arrived in Naples for a then-record amount and for the next seven years hell broke loose. The most famous football genius of all time and the most dysfunctional city in Europe were perfect for each other. Maradona was blessed on the field, but cursed outside of it; this charismatic Argentine very quickly led Napoli to their first title. Dreams were fulfilled. But there was a price… Diego was allowed to do everything, as long as he performed miracles on the field, but when the magic disappeared he became a prisoner of the city.
