Gimme Danger

USA 108 min.

Jim Jarmusch’s new film GIMME DANGER chronicles the story of The Stooges, one of the greatest rock-n-roll bands of all time.

''Gimme Danger'' is the story of 'The Stooges', one of the greatest rock'n'roll bands of all time, set in a musical, cultural, political and historical context. It conveys their ups and downs, while explaining the reasons for their initial commercial failure as well as their long-term impact. Jim Jarmusch's rich list of memorable films includes only one documentary - "The Year of the Horse", about Neil Young. Nearly 20 years later, the greatest ‘independent’ American author participated in the Cannes Film Festival with as many as two films, the drama ‘Paterson’ and the new music documentary ‘Gimme Danger’ about Iggy Pop and his band ‘The Stooges’.
