''Crock of Gold: A Few Rounds with Shane MacGowan'' is a documentary that delves deep into the life of this Irish singer, best known as the leader and songwriter of The Pogues, who combined traditional Irish music with the visceral energy of punk rock.
The film features never-before-seen archival footage of the band and MacGowan's family, as well as animation by legendary illustrator Ralph Steadman. The film is Julien Temple's love letter to the iconic frontman in celebration of his 60th birthday, where singers, movie stars and rock 'n' roll outlaws gathered to celebrate the man and his legacy.
