Inclusive projection: The Wedding

Croatia, Serbia 100 min.

On his birthday, a well-known Croatian entrepreneur learns that he is facing bankruptcy. His family arrives at his office with a cake and tamburica musicians. At the same time, he receives a call from his daughter, who is studying in London. Along with birthday wishes, she reveals that she is pregnant. The father of the child is the son of a Serbian minister. As they begin organizing the wedding, it constantly swings between an unforgettable celebration and an international incident.

The Wedding is the new film by director Igor Šeregi (ZG80). It is a full-blooded, anti-romantic Balkan comedy that builds its humor on national prejudices and animosities. The film boasts an excellent cast led by René Bitorajac and Dragan Bjelogrlić.

Note: The film includes inclusive subtitles and a Croatian sign language interpretation track, making it accessible to deaf and hard-of-hearing audiences. It is also equipped with audio description, making it accessible to blind and visually impaired audiences.
