When Ruben, a former addict and now drummer of a punk-metal duo, suddenly loses his hearing during a tour with his girlfriend Lou, he is overwhelmed with anxiety and his life suddenly finds itself at a turning point.

In a group home for deaf addicts, Ruben has to choose between his new community of the deaf and the life of sound and noise he has left behind.
