After serving a lengthy prison sentence for robbery, Anker (Nikolaj Lie Kaas) returns to his brother, Manfred (Mads Mikkelsen), who has a mental disability. Anker had entrusted Manfred with hiding a large amount of stolen money. The problem is that Manfred cannot remember exactly where he buried the money 14 years ago. The brothers embark on a search complicated by Manfred’s delusions and an unexpected group of companions they pick up along the way.

The Last Viking received positive reviews at the Venice Film Festival and earned Mads Mikkelsen a nomination at the European Film Awards. It is a black comedy in a distinctive Danish style.
