In almost every police station in the world, detectives are inevitably faced with at least one case that remains unsolved. The more heinous the crime, the more it haunts those whose duty it is to solve it.

This is exactly the situation Yohan Vives finds himself in - a young, newly promoted police captain when he begins an investigation into the disgusting murder of a young girl named Clara in the small town of Grenoble. Vives' team methodically investigates every detail of Clara's life, uncovering her secrets in the hope of finding the killer.
