Red Crescent volunteers receive an emergency call. A 6-year old girl is trapped in a car under IDF fire in Gaza, pleading for rescue. While trying to keep her on the line, they do everything they can to get an ambulance to her.

This deeply moving docudrama, which is based on a case that resonated around the world, blends real audio recordings of Hinda’s voice with a dramatised performance. It is presented from the perspective of the emergency service volunteers who received the call. Filmed with the intention of raising awareness of the genocide of Palestinians and contributing to the global call for action, it is titled The Voice of Hind Rajab.

Directed by two-time Oscar nominee Kaouther Ben Hania (Four Daughters, The Man Who Sold His Skin), The Voice of Hind Rajab had its world premiere in the Venice Film Festival's competition programme, where it won the Grand Jury Prize and received the longest ovation in the festival's history — over 23 minutes.

The film has been nominated for the European Film Award for Best European Film. It has been screened and awarded at numerous other international festivals, and Tunisia has submitted it for the Oscar for Best International Feature Film. The film is also supported by world-renowned actors and directors as co-producers: Brad Pitt, Joaquin Phoenix, Rooney Mara, Alfonso Cuarón and Jonathan Glazer.
