Undine works as a historian at a museum where she lectures on the urban development of Berlin. When the man she loves leaves her, an ancient myth catches up with her.

She must kill the man who betrayed her and return to the water. But before she can carry out her plan, Christoph will catch her eye. In this contemporary reinterpretation of the Little Mermaid, Undine throws off the role of a rejected, helpless woman and falls in love again.
