December in the Kino Zona

The month of November in the Kino Zona was accompanied by carefully selected domestic titles and those from the "ZFF travels" program, an unforgettable lecture by the seasoned film master Vlado Ercegović from the "Zlatna Vrata" cinema in Split , and a round table with eminent Croatian cinematographers audience development.

On Friday, December 6, the famous signore "bunga bunga" or "Silvio" (in the original "Loro"), a biographical drama about the controversial Italian politician Silvio Berlusconi, arrives. The film is directed by one of the best directors of today, the celebrated and award-winning Paolo Sorrentino, while the title role is played by his "home" actor Toni Servillo. Sorrentino's version of Berlusconi's life is a combination of true events, but also the director's imagination. Political backstage games, unknown details from private life, notorious unbridled parties, exchange wealth, decadence are waiting for you.  

Three days later, on Monday, December 9 and Tuesday, December 10, a mini cycle of Hispanic film will be held in cooperation with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain in the Republic of Croatia and the Department of Hispanic Studies of the University of Zadar. "I am Julia" and "Black Bread". Admission to these two screenings is free, and both films have English subtitles. 

For the very end of this year's edition of Kino Zona, the organizers are bringing us a classic on Friday, December 13th. It is the SF horror "Alien" by the great Ridley Scott, which turned 40 this year since its premiere. On this occasion, the director's version of the film, which has never been shown in Zadar, awaits us, a real spectacle and a unique opportunity to watch this unforgettable genre classic on the big screen.
