"The Diary of Diana B" opens a new Cinema Zone

14.10.2019.

This year's absolute winner of the Pula Film Festival, crowned with six Golden Arenas, will open the year-round independent cinema Kino Zona on Friday, October 18, at 8 p.m. In addition to the film screening, citizens will have the opportunity to participate in a moderated conversation with the author of the film, Dana Budisavljević, after the screening.

The new program scheme is moving the Kino Zona to the Rector's Palace, with a capacity of 130 seats, which, in the coming months, will become the scene of feature, documentary and animated films, guest appearances, film lectures and round tables. This successful local film initiative is credited to the Alliance of Independent Culture Centre with the support of the City of Zadar's Department of Culture and Sports and the Croatian Audiovisual Center.

Branko Stojaković's field was a pleasant warm summer home for Kino Zona until the last days of September. The visit of almost 1,600 citizens to 19 summer screenings showed the need for year-round action.

All screenings begin at 8 p.m., and will be held once a week. Tickets at the price of 20 kn can be purchased every working day from 8 am to 4 pm in the office of the Alliance of Independent Culture Centre (Zrinsko Frankopanska 3) or at the location of the screening before the screening. The on-site box office opens at 7:15 p.m.

See you in the new Cinema Zone!
