"Zbornica" swept the competition at the 69th award ceremony of the Pula Film Festival!

In competition with as many as 10 feature-length domestic titles, "Zbornica" by Sonja Tarokić triumphantly paraded through the Pula arena on Saturday evening, July 23, winning a total of 5 awards, namely those for best film, best director (Sonja Tarokić), best leading actor (Stojan Matavulj), best supporting actress (Nives Ivanković) and best editing (Borna Buljević).

The absolute dominance of "Zbornica" was prevented by the fantastic Lana Barić with the award for best actress in the feature film debut of the former film critic and acclaimed documentarian Arsen Oremović, "Glsva velike ribe", while the audience declared Goran Dukić's comedy "Nosila je rubac črleni" as their favorite. For the role of Joža in Dukić's film, Ljubo Zečević was awarded the award for the best supporting actor, and the extremely praised "Stric" by the director duo David Kapac and Andrija Mardešić was decorated with awards for the best screenplay and the best costume design (Ana Savić Gecan).

The feature-length film debut, "Punim plućima", by the famous director of music and commercial videos, Radoslav Jovanov-Gonz, won awards for the best photography (Stanko Herceg) and sound (Frane Homen), while Ana Bulajić Črček was awarded the award for the best mask in a historical epic "Illrycvum". As for the international program, Emin Alper's film "Days of Drought" was declared the best by the jury, while the audience voted for "The Summer When I Learned to Fly" by Radivoj Andrić.
